Flash SMS A flash SMS is a type of text message that displays instantly on a mobile device’s screen without the user having to do anything. Flash SMS, also known as class 0 SMS, can be displayed on a smartphone’s screen even if it is locked. Most users don’t use SMS, except for OTPs or transactional messages. Because people didn’t check their SMS inboxes, companies started sending unneeded advertising flash messages to promote offers. There is an easy way to stop Android devices flashing advertising messages permanently.
